Wow! I really like this one! Thanks. I've been kind of blue today about our current alarming situation.

We surely do need some of those! Thanks. This is sooo pretty!

You wrote this book? Then, of course, I will. Even if you didn't, I'll try it. Thanks.

I read more than 100 books last year on my Kindle; many were award winners, including the Pulitzer, National Book Awards, Booker, Hugo (Sci Fi/Fantasy) . . . etc.

CAPTURED ME: A dual-timeline historical novel following two characters seeking freedom and resilience in Paris - centuries apart (1664 & 1939). Focus: Resistance, the fight for artistic/personal freedom, and the hidden, subterranean world beneath Paris, the metaphorical "underground" of the city.

I will check this out. Looking for sci-fi that makes me think rather than react and does not focus on war and battles forever and forever without resolving the urge to annihilate rather than communicate.

Thanks, I was concerned about that.

This is a cat named Sasha. I'm allergic, but I admire them as a species! I gave this painting to my daughter's mom-in-law who had just lost hers; it is the only painting she's ever had, and it resides just above her couch now.

I join you in giving a duck every day these days.

Such a sweet little face!

Such beautiful birds! They like to hang out at Crystal Springs near Reed College here, and I work hard to get a photo if I can!

Made me laugh. I've never noticed this, either, though. I'll have to look more carefully!

Poor babies. It is really cold here in Oregon these days, and everybody in the neighborhood is all fluffed up, trying to keep warm. Their fluffed jackets do make them so sweet looking, though.

How heavy is this hanging feeder? It's wonderful! I live in Oregon where it rains a lot, and I'm losing too much food for my darling bird neighbors at AnnieMa's Restaurant. But I'm hanging my little feeders from my awning, and I think maybe this one would be too heavy?

that's Kindred Spirit, the Wickedester sneaky foodie in our house. She earned that title today. Whatever it was, it was certainly difficult to clean up. If she weren't so darned cute, I'd be really, really mad.
