Same way I'm sure he'd think Native Americans were 'fundamentally evil' for fighting back against immigrant settlers a few centuries back, or European resistance fighters were 'fundamentally evil' for opposing Nazi occupation in the 1940s or enslaved people were 'fundamentally evil' for rising up..
