It’s not just Medicaid on the chopping block. If Trump succeeds in repealing the IRA, it will increase the likelihood of a recession due to loss of jobs and investment.

Now he’s trying to stop funding for the Democrats! I am worried Trump’s declining approval rating won’t matter because we won’t have free and fair midterms. Seems like the Republicans in Congress are counting on that, too.

It is an honor to be endorsed by my Congresswoman @ilhanmn.bsky.social. Rep. Omar has been a key partner in advocating for a better future for all. Her support for key federal legislation like the Inflation Reduction Act was crucial for Minneapolis (1/2)

Rep. Sykes is committed to keeping more money in your pockets. The Inflation Reduction Act saved #OH13 constituents over $10 million in 2024 alone. Congress must continue to protect Americans’ hard-earned benefits.

The University of Maryland has a new national survey of Americans about support of key tax credits from the Inflation Reduction Act.

It finds that the clean energy tax credits are overwhelmingly popular among Americans in general, including Republican voters.

The Inflation Reduction Act, signed by former President Joe Biden in August 2022, unleashed a torrent of new clean energy projects.

But now, under President Trump, the trend has started to go in reverse:

How Congress Could Force $1.1 Billion in Cuts on Washington, D.C.
District leaders say that a proposed cut to the city budget, part of a plan to avert a federal government shutdown, is unfair. The city raises most of its own money but cannot control how it is spent.

the primary divide in the Democratic Party right now is not left vs. right

it’s fighters vs. cowards. that’s why even former republicans like kinzinger who are centrists on policy are absolutely furious at Schumer

Federman didn’t even call them cuts. He just said there’s a few issues in there, but they matter way less than the chaos of a shutdown. He’s fully bearing his head in the sand around what these cuts would mean.
John Fetterman and Dave McCormick could care less about this or anything else besides pleasing Trump. We deserve better. All of us!
