Yes! I loved JetBlue! I used to be able to fly them from San Diego to Utah or Colorado (my parents live there). Patton Oswald has a whole bit on how great JetBlue was… well back when it was apparently. Southwest is going downhill too. 🤦♀️

The only thing that I’ve come up with is talking to retired generals who know the generals that were in the room and find out where they stand. Much like a shadow government, the blue states should be meeting with their national guard commanders and asking them to refuse Trump’s orders.

I agree, but I didn’t hear anything about how we handle the military being used against citizens. I love their ideas for education and FEMA, but but how do we counter actual violence??

Yes! I left a message with your office and asking you to please get together with other Democratic leaders and military leaders to come up with a plan in the event that Trump decides call for Martial Law. I admit to being afraid.

SCOTUS has already given Trump immunity and he can pardon anyone if they violate a law like PCA. A lower court ruled that Trump violated the PCA by sending troops into LA. SCOTUS overturned it.

It’s not about training. It’s about instilling fear. What he meant to say was that he wants the military to do target practice on unarmed civilians.

The only thing many of them were likely not on board about was the PT test they would have to pass. Hegseth doesn’t care that 17% of our military is made up of women and another 31% are POC. He wants a military that is white and Christian and male.

Generals hate the changes that have occurred. They are mostly boomers who think women, trans people, and probably the whole LGBT+ community should not be allowed to serve. They would love to go back to when drill instructors were abusive. How do make troops tough if you don’t beat them down.

Then why weren’t you screaming it from the rooftops BEFORE the election?! Where are you now? Are you meeting with the other generals to create contingency plans?? Are you just going to watch the country you swore to protect just get turned into a fascist state??!

And yet, based on what I’ve read, they will try to implement Hegseth’s requirements. And they will likely follow orders to invade American cities. Training = target practice

It’s not about training. It’s about instilling fear. You see armed men on the street, it’s going to make you less likely to attend a legal protest. Training = target practice.

I read that afterward there were a number of them telling Hegseth and Trump that they agreed and loved the speeches. These Generals aren’t going to say no if Trump orders them into cities. They probably won’t stop soldiers from firing on Americans.
