I just took a look at MnDOT's website. I call them occasionally about highways and have been under the impression that no one over there ever thought about trains. It turns out there's a state rail plan, and it's being updated. Hm. I didn't see any opportunity for public comment though.

I worked across the hall from The Onion in Madison. My kids grew up quoting The Onion. This post about Newsom is gratuitously disrespectful to the people in Minnesota mourning the loss of a politician who fought for our rights and freedoms. It should be taken down.

Journalist here: We're always very careful not to convict a suspect in the news (at least those of us who subscribe to professional ethics). Among other problems, it could compromise a trial.
