I get so many spam calls I don’t even answer if the caller is unknown. I send them direct to answer phone. I decided it is best not to engage at all with any unknown caller I read there is some sort of scam involving recording your voice although no idea what.

Keep rewriting and improving … much easier to know how to improve something that to start from a blank page. Make it more concise and refine. Finally read it out loud to check its written as well as possible

As a former MA student who found writing an enormous struggle … start with a plan … write as badly as required to actually write at all. Ie in note form, no grammar, no punctuation, full of quotations clearly marked with references. Then rewrite. And rewrite. Revise plan as ideas reform.

While doing my family history I found a report of my great, great grandfather appearing in a court case regarding a right of way. My relative gave evidence in Cymraeg, a translator translated for the court, then my relative corrected the translation (in English) causing much amusement in the court.

The book speaks 📖: 'If you know how to read me, treat me well; however if you don't know how to read me, hand me to a learned person.'

Also had a neighbour whose house was up for sale over and over. Speaking to a mutual friend she said the ex wife couldn’t understand how it didn’t sell. But I’d seen ‘sold signs’ up repeatedly… the bloke had kept pulling out and changing agents. Wife was living elsewhere & didn’t know!

There needs to be a better system, you’re sure there isn’t some kind of dodgy business with your ex? My purchase was from someone in a divorce process … I suspect the whole thing might have been an exercise in him ultimately keeping the house having told his wife he *failed* to sell it. It was odd

I’m sorry … it needs reform to the process.
I had similar in lockdown where the seller changed his mind at the very last minute. It was devastating … I was homeless at the time due to divorce also it cost me 1000s in fees and in house prices going up too.

Things are fine now, different but fine! Gardening is so therapeuticfor me too. I do hope life gets back to normal for you both soon and you can look back at it as just one of those little blips that happen xxx

In the interim I did something completely different (botanical illustration). For me shelving things helped anyway xxx

I had a major life upheaval and had to stop taking photographs for a few years as all I could see in the ones I did take was bleakness and devastation. Its taken me a few years to come out of it tbh, longer than it took me to get my life sorted! But I feel like all the meaning of it is renewed now

I had similar reactions from cats, foxes, muntjac and badgers when i put one in my old garden. Squirrels didn’t seem bothered though!
