In 2003 a catastrophic illness changed my life disabling me &leaving me with 24/7 incurable, multi-sited nerve, joint & muscle pain. I had not done art for 25 years though I had studied it as a young woman. These drawings, currently on exhibit, were done in bed during a period of unbearable pain.

My crows were at the window a few minutes ago. They are patient and wait for me to come with peanuts or fruit bits. I once taught a crow to say hello.
