Love food,Italy,travel,
You have some brilliant journalists working under terrible circumstances but unfortunately it is mainly the mainstream, often more biased accounts ,which the majority of people see or have access to outside America.

I understand the distrust to some extent because of some of the sensationalism and misrepresentation of facts by some of the media but wanting to stop journalists from reporting is not the answer.

You have some excellent journalists but unfortunately there is very little coverage on Minneapolis here in the UK.

As my husband.
January 13, 2026 at 4:27 PM
Almost the exact words of my husband!Yes totally agree.

Yes,unfortunately he is not a good politician.I was prepared to give him a chance but I 'm done with the present Labour Party.I am nearly 70,always voted Labour and can't see a feasible alternative. Very sad about the direction this country is going.
January 13, 2026 at 2:12 PM
Yes,I agree with that,it isn't worse but still not good.
January 13, 2026 at 12:12 PM
Very stark particularly when we really need a strong government at present.I think Starmer's abilities don't translate to being a good politician. He lacks passion and vision and is a weak leader who will have lost lots of votes due to his ineptitude.

It isn't just about being uncharismatic though is it?I don't agree with the abuse but am very disappointed with the current Labour Party.
January 13, 2026 at 8:44 AM
Yes,you are right ,that is one of the joys.I find Touker very entertaining although I am not sure I would like to work for him!
I understand some people are nervous and everyone isn't experienced at public speaking but to go on and not understand your own figures..
January 11, 2026 at 10:52 PM
Agree.I used to enjoy it but have never made it past a couple of episodes of the last few series and won't watch anymore of it.
I still enjoy Dragon's Den though.
January 11, 2026 at 10:28 PM
Sadly I think you are right.
January 9, 2026 at 8:21 PM
Definitely not.
January 9, 2026 at 10:04 AM
Beyond belief!
November 18, 2025 at 9:38 PM
That is lovely, nothing beats a bit of peace. You must be so happy.
I shall miss the stunning views from your high rise though.
November 18, 2025 at 9:37 PM
Ditto.
November 17, 2025 at 4:24 PM
Exactly.
January 21, 2025 at 5:14 PM
Really horrendous. Makes me feel so sad.The consequences of this bill would be unthinkable.
January 18, 2025 at 8:36 PM
Good question.
January 7, 2025 at 10:44 PM
They seem to be.
December 7, 2024 at 5:31 PM
Good point, they may not have promised anything but to completely ignore the consequences of brexit and show no interest in the things that would benefit us is disappointing to say the least.
December 7, 2024 at 5:29 PM
Thank you for a great list of people, many of whom I wouldn't have found otherwise.
December 7, 2024 at 4:57 PM
Absolutely Paolo,Starmer has responded appropriately and diplomatically. Criticising Trump in public is certainly not the way forward.
November 7, 2024 at 6:10 AM
You are right.
November 6, 2024 at 5:02 PM
Exactly.
