I recommend taking off several days from the news - a complete blackout. I was in a dark place and this pulled me out. And being outside, watching butterflies, helps tremendously. And any kind of stretching exercise helps the tension in my back that arises when I just see a pic of Trump. 😄

I do but mostly to follow news about the orange guy’s attempts to drag us toward authoritarianism. And to read about the court hearings challenging his stupid executive orders and kidnappings of brown people. And on days like today when MAGA is turning against him over Epstein files.

I guess it is easier for them to blame us than it is for them to take a hard look at their own hearts. Jesus weeps. I’ve been praying for the Spirit to work on their hearts so they can see Jesus in the poor, marginalized people they want to send to prison in third world countries. Christ have mercy!
