It was a stupid question to ask - a waste of 5 minutes. No matter what he thinks of his future he wasn't going to sit there and say anything other than he'll be leader in 12 months time.

I'll be "dedecorating" the tree on 12th Night - a ritual as important as decorating it on Christmas Eve. My tree is a living tree and most of the year lives in my garden - it's not really keen on being in the house. I'm leaving fairy lights up though until 1st Feb.
