#GoodTrouble Lives On in Gaston County, NC, where about 75 people gathered at the foot of a Confederate monument to honor John Lewis and other civil rights trailblazers. Great energy, great connections and great determination to fight for justice and decency in a deep red county.

The Department of Homeland Security says it mistakenly sent an email Thursday to some Ukrainians, telling them their permission to stay in the U.S. had been terminated.

How is authoritarianism playing out locally? In Gastonia, NC, the mayor (WM GOP) tried to have a city council member (BF Dem) removed from a meeting when she argued with him. No threats or inappropriate language. She just made him mad. But there was a bright spot …

“If we … are to defend his twin pillars, then we must redouble our fight against the single greatest threat to ‘personal liberties and free markets’ in the US today: President Donald Trump.”

This illustrates the “cancel the WaPo” dilemma. …
I don't know what Jeff Bezos means by "personal liberties and free markets." But I do know this: The biggest threat to personal liberties and free markets in America today is Donald Trump. My @postopinions.bsky.social column on this week's trauma at the Post. wapo.st/3DaSKxX

It really would be a shame if thousands of regular Americans trolled Musk by flooding this inbox. Like, if you were to email hr@opm.gov …
