I was on twitter before Musk took it over and left when he made it difficult to block people or adverts

never been interested in. Then he reduced my capacity to block. I left and came to this lovely moderated space where I get to have control of my feed. It’s losing the control over the years that upsets me the most. Facebook used to show friends first now it’s difficult to find stuff

As someone who was using the internet back in the 1990s, my email address dates from back then, I fully agree with this thought provoking article. The internet was smaller, slower and so not so felt more calm. I left X shortly after Musk bought it and I started getting too much stuff that I have

What is frightening is people see and hear them talking about Musk and X AI and instead of being repulsed still think he would make a good PM. The brain washing has been so powerful!

I do have concerns about the moral values of all the people who cannot see that it is completely unacceptable to have a tool that can so easily produce indecent images. That they try to use the defence of “free speech” as cover for their repugnant views is just a feeble attempt at misdirection

It is isn’t it. I thought it summed him up when I first read it a while ago on Facebook, where I took delight in sharing it

Is this not the same group of MPs that talk about protecting women and children yet vote against every piece of legislation that does just that?

I left ages ago shortly after it became clear that under Musk moderation was a thing of the past. I found this much nicer place to be. I actually never commented on Twitter as I didn’t feel safe. I do feel safe here

The government does need to withdraw all X accounts. I left ages ago.

At this point in time the USA is looking more like a potential enemy of the majority of NATO countries than an ally. Maybe we should look to France for our nuclear deterrent and start to move away from being so reliant on USA defence companies for our weapons and also for our tech.

The whole of Europe and every member of NATO needs to fully support Denmark and Greenland in the face of such necked aggression from the current government of the USA

He is a very dangerous person full of avarice with the absolute power to just take what he wants. The rest of the World especially us in Europe do need to stick together and support each other against this tyrannical bully!

We better not have been. It is completely outrageous behaviour as well as breaking international law. Just because Trump wants both Venezuela oil and hates country in South America having a socialist government. I know it was dubious in some ways but this is not on!

We should not have USA beef, pork or chicken that is not produced to the same standards as our farmers have to comply with. We should insist they improve their animal welfare. We held firm against most of the EU, when we were a member and improved animal welfare across the EU against opposition

Starmer needs to stop pussyfooting around. Grow a pair and do what he knows is best for our economy and will make a real difference to most people. They need to stop running scared of Farage and do what needs to be done. They might regain some respect and votes

This just smacks of racism. AI has been proven to be inherently biased as it learns from stuff mainly produced by white men! If it has been told that Nigeria on an application is a risk factor I doubt the process goes any further. Then as they’ve not any photos together can’t be related!

Crown Courts but also Magistrates Courts. Without court space cases cannot be heard whether it’s by a judge or a jury. Without prison spaces, prison officers and probation staff then those sentenced cannot have their sentences carried out properly, professionally or with rehabilitation as the

Over the 14 years of Tory rule we have lost 2 things essential to the criminal justice system working. These are actual physical Courts and prisons as well as loads of prison and probation staff. The lack of progress to trial is often due to lack of court space. Not only did they close

or cultural issue. Yes the perpetrators are going to commit these offences with their friends but this is about men (mainly) having power over children. Unfortunately too many people still view children and women as objects. Until we do much more to address these views these issues will continue
