Because demographically that’s what’s happening. I believe the right-wing authoritarian movement now is from people who like white strongmen being in charge & who fear the ‘browning’ of our populations as well as increasing women’s equality. They are making it hard for all of us as they lose ground.

Or we are living through the last gasp (I hope!) of the white male patriarchy.

Seems like a good idea in ALL Parliaments and Congresses of the world, especially ours. (Says an American)

The Crowd Counting Consortium (ash.harvard.edu/programs/cro...) needs all of us to help document protests across the country. They’re the ones who came up with the 3.5% “rule”. Spread the word! Facts & data are important.

I think everyone standing up for democracy needs to reclaim the American flag. The far right has co-opted the flag for too long. Flag Day, which is also now “No Kings Day”, is the perfect day to start!

My question @normeisen.bsky.social and @judgeluttig.bsky.social is if Pam Bondi (and perhaps other egregious lawyers in the current DOJ) could be disbarred? I don’t know enough about what the measure is. Sure seems like she acts un-lawyerly, which is even worse because she’s in charge!

It’s truly shocking how fast and how many law firms just rolled over. “Bottomline” is clearly more important than “Rule of Law”, “Democracy”, or moral integrity. Sickening and shameful.
