I don’t know why my son gives himself to his wife’s family and my mother, but refuses to acknowledge my existence. I can’t seem to move forward. I’m so deeply broken. I’m trying to put myself together, but I don’t know where to start, especially since my husband & I cannot find work.

My dad has been gone for more than 8 months. I just learned that somewhere along the line my father told my son that he failed as a father. I am heartbroken that he thought that. Since my son won’t speak to me, I can’t get any clarity.

I miss my dad. The only real full family event we had was Thanksgiving. We went to my aunt’s house in Kentucky. My dad hated being there, but we enjoyed the meal and I enjoyed seeing him with his sister. When Daddy died, I went to see my aunt. I think Daddy would be glad i reconnected with my aunt.

Getting help is impossible. Their TV ads piss me off. I just had to refund some buyer who alleged the Lego adventure calendar they ordered was the wrong one and had bugs in the box. The 6 others I sold shipped with no problems.

I’ve been watching the Harry Potter movies—always seems appropriate as the holidays get close. I thought about texting my son. We saw all the movies together, and I read him all the books. Now, though, getting no response from him will just crush me.
