My Tuesday Team Building Games Club played "air pump hockey". They (we) played on teams, trying to blow the pumpkin to goals at the ends of the tables. While it was fun, it just about made it impossible for me to clean my classroom afterward; my arms were dead. #STEM #afterschool

On Wednesday, Doodle Club had its (8th or 9th?) annual "Spaghetti & Eyeballs" day. I gave them ping pong balls, they drew the eyes & cling-wrapped them. Pasta was water, green glue & sodium alginate, squirted into a calcium chloride solution & then washed. #STEM #STEAM #afterschool #halloween #art

Did I do my water change at the wrong time? I've never seen them even get close to each other before. I don't know their sexes & there isn't enough space above the water line to lay eggs anyway.

On a more serious note: Spay and neuter your pets. Adopt, don't shop.

At some point, I think some of these will be "adopted" out to responsible students.

I made fuzzy animals at the after-school table during conferences. Office staff said she would love a green gecko. I made 1 for each lady in the office. Tigress, 5th dog, ours 2020-2021 1-2.5 yo, surrendered in GA, we picked up from transport, she bolted next day, was gone for 3 days, much adventure in such short time.
