They’ve done it again. @primavera-sound.bsky.social has been covered in artificial grass, i.e. plastic with chemicals that end up in the sea. A threat to human health, a risk to marine ecosystems, and a source of plastic pollution to the Mediterranean. Year after year. @beyondplastics.bsky.social

Have you heard of plastic pellets? These tiny spheres are the raw material used to manufacture plastic products. They spill during production 🏭 and transport 🛻 and end up in rivers and oceans. They closely resemble fish eggs 🐟 and are easily ingested.

Have you seen artificial turf at a music festival? It might seem harmless, but is it really necessary?
