I completely agree! AI shouldn't replace human teachers & we should fight for more resources. But funding is slow & we found students want to be able to practice over & over which is not feasible in a classroom where many students need to take turns. We concluded that AI should be a supplement only.

📊 Professionals see #networks as insightful for clients & useful in treatment selection, but have concerns re: clients’ ability and own time constraints in learning to interpret output. Professionals who regularly use #eMentalHealth for giving clients questionnaires see more value in networks. (6/7)

I also had the opportunity to present a poster on a project that my two master thesis students have been working on for the past year. We investigated mental healthcare professionals' attitudes towards #AI and data-driven methods such as network models in #mentalhealthcare. (4/7)

🧑‍🎓 Students perceive #genAI patient simulator #chatbots as acting like they would expect a real patient to act, and are enthusiastic about the idea of using them to train their clinical skills. At the same time, they want them to supplement, not replace, working with human simulated patients. (3/7)
