Our so-called opposition party can't afford to be cute or coy with what's happening here. It's not just naked corruption, it's ethnic cleansing, treason, atrocities, with naked corruption threaded through it.

Personally profiting from slave labor and torture.

If we don't rip this ideology out, root and branch, it will metastasize and keep returning in ever more dangerous forms.

This is is happening because we abandoned Reconstruction. It's happening because the same ghouls from the Nixon and Reagan administrations are still calling the shots.

Honestly, trying to find stuff to jog the sense of elusive memory this gave me has just been a painful reminder of how far the visual arts internet has fallen between the death of the search engine, the depornification of (and thus artist exodus from) Tumblr, TwitDeath, and the rise of Gen ai spam.

Possibly the flipside of the Bloodborne-esque showcase for Arlinn?

My first thought as well, minus the "wolf" part.

There are a few panels of the Beast of Darkness from Berserk that aren't dissimilar, but I'm not sure it quite hits the mark.

Honestly, this was my sign. Family actually grabbed the big item off my wishlist.

My sole regret is the Mk III redesign, because the spikes are Death Guard fare more so than they are fitting for my Iron Warriors.

Google is principally designed as an ad revenue platform ever since Prabhakar Raghavan has had charge of its search. Google is not a substantially useful or unproblematic research tool.

"Doing their own research" is a substantial part of WHY these people came to the cracked conclusions they did.

And most Americans lack reading comprehension above the fifth or sixth grade level, so even if they had the access, it wouldn't help them understand what they found.

Unless you have a degree in the relevant field and academic institution level access to proper journals, the entire current architecture of the internet is DELIBERATELY constructed in a manner that makes doing your research an, at best, fraught proposition.

5 is mostly amazing with some lost opportunities and areas that could've used less elision. Episode 6 lands the wham moments it's going for, and the gut-punch is textbook flawless in execution. There's not enough space to let what preceded it breathe and settle in, though. It feels like a speed-run.
