The goal was to practice portraits, over and over and over, without getting lost in the “I suck and should give up” mindset.

Grimalkin and I hunkered down and got through tasks that sent me into decision paralysis and overwhelm a few months ago. Our reward tonight? is Fuzzy blanket cuddles and a history documentary!

(I still have to troubleshoot the TTL for email, and update stream alerts, thats tomorrow’s checklist)

My household has a saying, “Embrace the Suck”. Instead of fighting the phase of where you suck at something, you let go of perfectionism and practice the techniques without judgement. The only way to get better - is to do it. A lot.

Progress update
Added sunbeams, color and shape to the foreground and canopy. Also: sparkles.

I am really happy with the progress, both on the canvas and in refining my voice and style.
