I haven’t posted much recently due to personal events plus the incredible stress of watching the country I was born into implode at high speed. I’ve been aware of this nation’s decline for a long time, but this rapid descent into the final phase of #kakistocracy is a lot to process.

Mom’s diagnosis is in, and it is non Hodgkin’s lymphoma. As far as cancers go we are lucky because this one moves slow. Do any of you have experience living with it? If yes, anything we should know as we start down this path? #fuckcancer #lymphoma

The last week has been rough. Mom landed in the ER after the biopsy, where she seems to have contracted norovirus. She did not eat a real meal for one full week. The biopsy results will be revealed tomorrow. #fuckcancer

Yesterday’s biopsy ultimately worked, but it was a rough day due the heart rate fluctuations. Mom is stable today and the pain is lessening. We get the results in one week. #fuckcancer

Mom’s biopsy has turned into an all day event due to heart rate irregularities, a bleed in the psoas muscle, and excessive pain. She will be observed overnight. Hopefully this biopsy will determine what kind of cancer we are dealing with. #fuckcancer

My mother’s lymph node biopsy happens on January 9. It is better than the alternative bone marrow biopsy, but the enlarged nodes are near the spine, so I am worried. This is our next step on this journey. #fuckcancer
