Ok! People in the Los Angeles area! I am just now seeing this awesome mutual aid event on Instagram so I'm sharing it. It's a mutual aid fundraiser for 1) people affected by ICE 2) water talks for Masafer Yatta in the West Bank, and 3) families who were hurt by the government shutdown.

The long ago closed and torn down Memorial Park Grocery near my childhood home in Delano, CA. Memorably (see what I did there) the yellow and black sign hanging over the door is misspelled as "Memorail Park Groc" and for decades no one bothered to fix it. It's a decrepit building with boarded up windows and ancient Pepsi logos. It was torn down several years ago.
