Ma’am, with all due respect, this is a terrible idea on multiple levels right now. 1) We have WAY more important stuff to worry about 2) Do you really want to take prisoners’ rights away at a time when people are being imprisoned without due process?

Finally, actually demanding information instead of just making “this is bad” statements. Good work!
I realize frustrated people will still say it isn’t enough. But it is an important step. However, you’ll need to push for the info to be produced and verified promptly, and act on it straight away.

(2/2) Please know that information being “out there” is minimally useful now that the internet is flooded with AI-generated, SEO optimized BS. A google search no longer easily turns up relevant information. I realize posting relevant links constantly may be tedious, but it’s extremely helpful.

The Canadian gov’t needs to make this an official advisory ASAP. The danger is real. It is NOT safe to travel here. We’re only hearing about the ones who were able to get in touch with family or friends and raise a fuss—I am quite sure there are many more.

No. There is at least one fake grift account, which the real ones have repeatedly flagged and warned people about. Most of the accounts are vetted and legit.

ICE and the military continue operations during a shutdown even under normal circumstances. I don’t understand what would prevent him from continuing these flights.
