Ich durfte gestern beim Festakt vom @idw-team.bsky.social den Worten von @nettwerkerin.bsky.social lauschen und fand ihre Impulse zum Thema #Wisskomm über KI sehr on point: „The way we speak about what neural LLMs are doing is misleading to the public.“

Und es gab eine coole Ausstellung:

Beim Panel gab es einige tolle Zitate, Lucie Flek sagte an junge Frauen gerichtet: “Es ist in Ordnung Sachen kaputt zu machen, man muss nicht das 500 Seiten Manual lesen bevor man ‘Hello World’ schreibt.”

Thema war immer wieder, wie man bessere Strukturen schaffen kann. Kenza Ait si Abbou spricht hier von Förderung hin zu gerechter Beförderung.

Interesting inputs yesterday at the @ianus-project.bsky.social on journalism’s impact on public trust in science. @sduwe.bsky.social spoke about how media gave a platform to a lawyer who spread conspiracy theories about the effect of the COVID vaccines.
