SPILLOVERS: having an older brother who entered school late have stark negative impacts on 2nd-gen girls’ GPA. These are lasting effects since treatment occur at day care age but outcomes measured at age 15/16.

DIRECT EFFECTS: 2nd-gen migrant girls only enjoy the maturity advantage of late school entry if they do not have a younger brother. Here using the standardized final GPA at age 15/16 as the outcome.
