Marathon listening to YA & middle grade for an upcoming PD & am loving my most recent reads. Lei and the Fire Goddess had me laughing out loud, googling Hawaiian folktales, and holding my breath during Lei’s big race with the fire goddess Pele! @maliamaunakea.bsky.social @penguinbooksusa.bsky.social

I once heard someone say a #PhDpursuit is like therapy, constantly uncovering motives & beliefs…and memories. The “clerk” in this family story was a local comic guy named James. He was a comic expert, a historian with unlimited knowledge he shared w/local comic patrons. 1/

I do love my planners! I’m going for another @moleskine.bsky.social spiral for my writer’s notebook. Last year was my 1st using a dated planner for notes/ideas & I loved it! #PlumPlanner for school but that’s my June/July planner season. 😂 Bought this one yesterday for tracking my side hustles.
