I am so sorry, Sara. I know that we all are lamenting having to go through another Trump presidency, but I also know how absolutely devastating it is for you and others who have loved ones who did not survive his first term. It's heartbreaking.

I get approximately three days of hives after the COVID shot and the flu shot, even if I pre-medicate. I still get them every year. Dealing with a few days of hives is nothing compared to what COVID and the flu could do to my already fragile body. And my children get every vaccine available to them.

I cannot believe this is happening.

I live in York County, but Adams County is just down the street. Our neighborhood is the best for trick or treat. Everyone goes all out, the leaves change at the perfect time, and it looks like a Hallmark movie. Our town also does trick or treat a week before Halloween, but that's a different story.

I had my second son prematurely via emergency c-section & he had to be sent by ambulance to a NICU 45 min away. When I was discharged 2 days later, a nurse packed the diaper bag for me that all new mothers get. Another nurse took the bag & said, "She doesn't get one. She's not taking a baby home."

I am a slim person as the result of my Noonan Syndrome. During an ER visit for severe hives a few weeks after my gallbladder surgery, the doctor creepily ran his bare hand over my exposed, scarred abdomen, and said, "You certainly don't have the body of someone who needed gallbladder surgery."

I see it and it's beautiful!
