Winding up my first ever wrist watch, which I got on my 5th birthday. I had it for quite a few years. That satisfying noise and vibration from the springs, radiating to my fingers as I rotated the little miniature wheel on the side. Oh how can feel it now some 56 years later!

I’d say it’s beyond capital, it’s about prestige and power.
I have visited many cultures and societies around the globe, and in every single one, prestige and power hunt is evident and strong (not always salient).
