It didn't when I was either. It does now, at least in Oregon.

Bonus: Medicaid provides vision and dental for children, but not adults. So by their logic it IS medically necessary for kids, but pfft, adults don't need that. 🙄

Many insurance companies don't cover vision, much less glasses or contacts. The reason: not medically necessary. What kind of backwards system determines that vision care isn't a medical necessity? Ours. And it's gross.

It's to distract and sew distrust. "What if" is a scary game when you can't trust your neighbors. And that destabilization makes it easy to cause chaos with fear and hate.
