I didn’t realise how much pain and discomfort I was living with until I had a hysterectomy to deal with it. It’s not the solution for everyone though. Years of bloating and pain so bad that I could never wear tight garments around my waist. I’m pain free now.

It does like moist areas here too. Here’s our entry in the Flora of Victoria. It would be interesting to compare the genetics of the two populations.

Really interesting, thanks for sharing. Lythrum hyssopifolia is quite widespread here in Victoria, Australia as an introduced species.
