Thank you for sharing. I've just reported this item to Etsy, and told them I will boycott their platform and encourage everyone I know to do the same.

So sorry to hear you're going through this! I think you're right that this is becoming more common, and that authors can save themselves stress by choosing their own copy-editor -- and indexer!
