But for many women, harassment changes how they move, when they go, and whether they feel safe enough to use them at all.

Everyone deserves to enjoy parks without fear.

We can all play a role in changing this. ⬇️ #StandUpAgainstStreetHarassment

Everyone can help to create safer parks. That's why this initiative offers free training in the #5Ds to park staff to equip them with the skills to intervene safely. It uses scenarios from our research with women and girls to encourage bystander intervention to tackle harassment in green spaces.

We're excited to launch a major #SaferParks: #StandUpAgainstStreetHarassment campaign in partnership with @suzylamplughtrust.bsky.social @keepbritaintidy.bsky.social #GreenFlagAward to build a community of active bystanders and make our parks safer, more inclusive spaces for all
