Took the parents to @longwoodgardens.bsky.social last weekend. We may have missed the nighttime lights, but we loved the children’s garden, the collection of orchids, and learning about the varieties of poinsettia from one of their staff members, Joan.

we dismantled the garden before the election. I miss admiring it in the sun.

we enjoy the fruit, but I dread when it’s all gone. then I remember that I get to start again in just a few months. here’s to finding and holding hope this winter.
