Now for days of rationalizing, second questing and shifting blame. Trump did not deliver and this is what happened. We are still a democracy and we vote.

Nauru is selling citizenship for $105,000 to save itself from rising seas. Might be a better passport to have these days when traveling.

I guess I’m not okay with Democrats not showing up for Trump’s speech or wearing pink. This is ineffective and sad. These times call for showing up and speaking out.

The only escape from the barrage of intolerable news these days is in the studio hanging with friends in various states of completion.

When a reporter asked Trump whether the United States had to give up anything in return for Fogel’s return, the Republican said, “Not much.” I say Newspeak, when the current administration says the release of Alexander Vinnik to Russia is not a prisoner exchange for Marc Fogel.

When all is said and done and the people who took the buyouts finally loose their benefits and their deal is done, what will they do?

If the wealthy paid there fair share and corporations were taxed as they should be, there would be no need to do what Trump and Musk are doing. There are lots of people loosing their jobs as a result of their machinations and government agencies being gutted.

I finally have time to reflect on the Chicago Puppet Festival 2025. I attended as a part of Catapult and saw some incredible shows. Although the puppets were less than expected, the writing and direction was incredible. Art gives me hope in these trying times.

I wonder….1,500 thugs pardoned and back in their communities and yet they are worrying about migrant crimes.

I wonder…..why such outrage about the Anthony Fauci pardon, from those who are okay with electing a felon.

I’m not sure that anyone who uses their Venmo account to pay for sex and drugs should head up any government agency 🤷🏼‍♀️
