The state of healthcare in the US, folks. In 1 month, my family has paid >$4,000-out of pocket (OOP) (+ our premiums)-for our healthcare expenses. And that’s just to reach our deductible. We’ll now pay 20% until we reach the out of pocket max of $8,000 (+ our premiums). Our total OOP spend=$11,995.
