No matter how I die I want there to be questions. Questions about what I was involved in or possible foul play I met.

As for that bodega and similar stores- they should be held accountable- financially (like fines) or by removing snap access as a form of payment. I’d imagine this would make a lot of them get in line.

I agree that fraud exists (I read the report) & can be perpetrated as per your example. Smaller stores can ring up an item (like cigs) as generic food and pass that way- & there are holes the way the states detects fraud. But I see my state changing the way they approach applications and renewals.

I’ve never been able to trade in food stamps for cash or even toilet paper by stores. SNAP only covers 1/3 of my food costs & I receive less than 1/2 max allowed. This year I was audited at random for my SNAP which was a financial cavity search. The system is not as loose as people imagine it is.

I live between Lead and Coal. A house away from Coal. I’m extremely conscious of my dogs and warn new roommates. People LOVE to also speed on both streets.
