Same here! Though my mum was at home, I was able to read what I wanted. I went to the library regularly and read up to four books - a day! My nose stuck in a book all the time. 🤣 Later, as a juvenile, I "borrowed" my mum's dime novels. Despite that "literature" I haven't become the romantic type. 😁

Genau so ist es. Ich nehme mir seit Monaten vor, nach einer vernünftigen Video-App zu suchen, aber dann kommt immer was mit den Büchern dazwischen. 😁 Steht also weiterhin auf der Gute-Vorsätze-Liste. 😅

Leider nein. Vielleicht liegt es dran dass ich kaum Reels poste. Angeblich sind die ja nötig, um neue Follower zu bekommen. Ich nutze Instagram und seit ein paar Wochen Bluesky. Auf Insta habe ich eine feste Fanbase, aber mehr wird's halt nicht.

Ich nutze es regelmäßig, hilft nur leider nix. 😣

When I was about 9, Federica de Cesco came to my school to read from her book. Though her name sounds Italian, she's German. She impressed me a lot, and I am pretty sure that her visit is the main reason for me to start writing. I need to find her books, though I'm not sure there's a translation.

I guess my alltime favourite is Peterchens Mondfahrt (Peter and Anneli's Journey to the Moon). It's fairytale, fantasy and SciFi all in one! I cannot count how often I've read it! 😄
