I finally picked up the last few of the series and am almost done with the re-reads to refresh me on the story - thank you for writing such great characters in a vibrant world!

I recently bought the paperback version - excellent read (actually ALL of his books are excellent reads) and at that price it's a no-brainer!

I can't disagree with you on that one. There are many things about Bluesky that I prefer overall, but I wish some of the "booster" pages (such as lotrofamily) were more active here - their reposting was a huge help in the Twitterverse! Not going back though, I'll just keep doing my thing here :)

I don't play LotRO much anymore, but perhaps if the lag that helped drive me away is indeed better on these new 64 bit servers I may return and do some questing, I have a lot of story to catch up on. In the meantime, today, I redecorated the entryway of the new kinhouse. For now, that is enough.

I do not plan on moving all the alt accounts I had, as on Evernight I pretty much owned an entire neighborhood, minus a few homes. But I did buy the Bree home I love (4 Garden Street) along with my favorite 2 premium homes (1 Silver St Belfalas and 1 Mare St Kingstead).

I returned bound items to friends absent, wishing I could return them in person. Today was the day I made the move, and thankfully I was able to buy the same Belfalas island kinhome. It's not the same, and never will be - but it at least preserves the echos.

Many items that decorated the kinhouse that were bound to folks who no longer play (and in some cases no longer even alive) are now lost to the ether. This is even true of my personal home, making it even that much more painful. But I spent the past couple of weeks packing up the homes.

I loved this book and your cover for it. I'm pleased to find out that I did indeed catch much of the symbolism in the art! All of Volsky's books are well worth the read :)
