For your #Oscar consideration for Best Short #Documentary - "Far from Home" is now viewable on the @theacademyusa.bsky.social Awards portal.

When #Afghans are being demonized in the US, this award-winning short tells the humanizing story of one woman’s fight for a safe home for her family.

Spent my birthday getting bullied on X. Just because I said journalists were an important resource for public information during COVID and we shouldn’t stand by while tech bros decimate and denigrate us.

I truly wish these bots find peace in their life.

All my friends want to know what I plan to do today. My response literally is, I just want to sleep and rest. I guess this is how birthdays look like once you turn 33?

Not this one. This effort is run on passion and will to make a positive difference for the subjects of the documentary, #Afghan refugees facing persecution in #India.

There's a very good movie I think you should watch called "Judgment at Nuremberg". It's largely concerned with how fascism grows by convincing people to collaborate right up until they reach their redlines, and then quietly replacing them once the fascists decide they're ready to cross the redlines.

This situation back home has made me realize one thing - you can't trust TV channels in India. My trust in the media has been completed eroded.

Please be considerate. Some of us have families back home. We are unable to sleep, eat or work. War does not bring peace - it only brings destruction. Please, for the love of God, please de-escalate now. Please! #IndiaPakistan
