These AI ads are some of the bleakest stuff I've ever been exposed to. I don't know what this one was for because I skipped it as soon as I could, but it started with "I know ChatGPT likes detailed prompts, but I don't like typing them".

Very continental experience: in Spain, visiting Romanian friend, facetiming her Italian oenologist boyfriend to help us open a corked bottle of wine (screwtops all the way for me usually), him instructing us in very passionate Italian, her cursing up a storm in Spanish

It really is impossible to be polite to drunk guys who come to hit on you, because as soon as you use a cursory, insincere polite phrase like 'nice to meet you' or 'have a nice evening', it's taken as an invitation to stay and breathe down your neck while he insults your intelligence

Yesterday, I saw a tesla that someone had scratched the initials E.M. onto the door of. I don't know which option I like more, the likely one that it had been vandalised, or the less likely one that the owner had done it themself (well, most likely himself) and thought it was cool

I miss living in Scotland, despite all of the UK being a shithole right now, and it warmed my heart incredibly to hear a Scottish man yell "fuck off, you stupid bint" at the TV in the pub I'm in when a member of a racist party appeared on the screen

My boss has somehow stuck me in the position of choosing my own replacement. Do I pick the person who could do the job more easily but doesn't need it as much or the person who has significant language barriers that I know will cause problems, but is desperate for the work?
