Hibiscus Rising at dusk. This sculpture by artist Yinka Shonibare commemorates the life and death of David Oluwale, a British-Nigerian man whose death in 1969 involved two members of the police. Located in my hometown of Leeds, UK, it reflects the city's cultural diversity.

Last week, I came across social enterprise Swindon Sisters Alliance, focussed on domestic violence. They have a charitable shop in Swindon and an eBay shop. Proceeds help fund their retreats through their Julie's Haven arm. I bought these collagen tablets from them but they sell much more besides.

For my first Bluesky post, a mackerel sky above my home. The rows of clouds are stunning. It's been very cold this week. Can't wait until we see some sunshine break through.
