I have definitely got more done by working from home, than from spending an hour getting into an office and then an hour getting back from it. Not to mention lunches and the lure of Oxford Street (office in Tottenham Court Road). So there's that. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

So there we are then. DPD promised next day delivery. Gave me a 15 hour slot which meant I had to stay in for all that time. Didn't deliver the next day but instead said they 'missed me' and delivered it on the second day. That is not what I paid for.

Highly recommend putting more RAM in the laptop. Mine went from 8Gb to 24Gb and now it's faster than a fast thing. #laptoptales #writingcommunity

Someone needs to invent some kind of duvet thing to wear when at the computer when it's cold. Something that leaves your hands free to type, but completely encloses the rest of your body, except for your eyes of course. You need to be able to see the screen.

So, I flush my loo this morning and it all came back up via the drain in the shower. Man now here with manhole open trying to flush it all out. There's some seriously weird stuff down there that I know for a fact I did not flush down the loo. Like whole grapes, and an inner tyre.

The matter of moving everything here from X is one of the reasons I've not done it in the past. It's difficult to leave somewhere where you've built up a following in the thousands that's taken many years, only to start all over again. #writers
