We adopted a great Dane who wandered up to our door. He was starving from being on his own for weeks. We saw him running after a pickup weeks before he came to us.

My father had the sundown syndrome. We had to put confining rails on his bed, cameras and a bed alarm to keep him safe. One time I had to take him outside to prove to him that Jesus did not leave a Cadillac in the driveway for him. Yet in the daytime he was fine.

He obviously knows nothing about autism. My 55 year old son is autistic. He was born premature with not enough nerve endings covering his brain. He lives in a group home and can take care of his personal hygiene completely independently.
