It's a nice idea, but the novelty wears off about the third time the tree falls down on you or makes a large crashing sound in the middle of the night.

Most if not all with a cause of action will be bound by an arbitration agreement. But, it's relatively consumer friendly. Tesla pays all arbitration fees, no confidentiality by default, and they lose almost 100% of the time.

Where I'm from in Canada, lawyers are disqualified from serving on juries. Where I'm now in Texas, non-citizens are ineligible. So I've almost always been "safe".

Point taken, but wouldn't a shift towards low-GHG energy sources (hydroelectric, solar, even nuclear) and electrification of commercial transportation vehicles make a big dent in the two largest GHG-emitting sectors? ourworldindata.org/grapher/per-...
