Can somebody explain why the issue of registration is never talked about? Doesn’t everybody have to register before voting? Isn’t the registration process supposed to verify citizenship?

Is gaffe the right word? If someone says, how much is 2+2 and the person says 5, that’s not a gaffe- it’s a factually wrong answer.

Sounds like something needs to be done- but do you have 9 months of NO RAIN? That is the biggest factor in LA. I lived there. 6 months with no rain is normal. This was 9 months.

What is the benefit of getting a booster? I simply have not seen anything to convince me that there is a benefit.

So if we want to find out about fires and earthquakes and floods, i.e., actual daily news, we won’t see that unless people we follow are posting it? For example- Malibu fire news was important to me and I had to read it on X. Not blaming anyone, just curious as to how this platform works.

When he bought Twitter, he made such a big deal about not wanting any bots. Somewhere along the line I guess he changed his business model. 🤦♀️

Thinking of you. 🙏 I live in another state now, but in 2018 I evacuated from Agoura Hills at 3 am when the Woolsey fire was about to cross the 101 just down the street from where I lived.

Politics aside, having to delete increasing numbers of porn bot and crypto bot followers every day on X is exhausting. Someone should look into this.

Good to know but maybe not the most significant thing. My top suggestion for change: Don’t ever microwave food with plastic covering that can melt on it/into it. This may be the #1 way Americans ingest plastic. Unwrap, remove from the plastic container, and heat in a pan with water.

A U.S. newsfeed would be nice. Current news feed is mostly international, sports and entertainment. Lack of a real current, breaking-news newsfeed, even with Trending News, limits usefulness.

It’s a good list to support Medicare For All! Let’s do that. People in some of those countries have complaints too, of course- e.g. UK people frequently complain about not enough $ being spent. Also some (most?) of those countries have Medicare For All + private options.

I watched one season, but never went back to it. I am now recommending “A Man on the Inside” on Netflix with Ted Danson. Really well done and a sweet and suspenseful mystery though at the beginning, you’re not really sure which way it’s going to go.
