I remember, even when I was very little, hearing about countries who were “behind the Iron Curtain“ and how the only news they received was through the state run agencies. I felt so sorry for them. We need to continue to push back in every possible way against this disgusting authoritarian regime.

Big good news! Senators from both parties endorsed a $400 million increase to the budget of the National Institutes of Health on Thursday, in an Appropriations Committee vote- a clear rebuke of DTs plan to dramatically reduce the agency’s spending.

This horrifying tragedy is being played out every day across our nation. People are hiding in their homes, not going to school, not going to doctors appointments, not going to the grocery store. Until this reign of terror is over, these are people we can reach out to and ask them what they need. 😢
