Just when I thought this government couldn't disappoint me any more, things like this happen. Apparently, Starmer stated that his "attack on environmental regulation (...) has been inspired by “my conversations with leading CEOs”. Absolutely abysmal.

The Guardian still goes with "may" even though it's clear that it was indeed the case.
