already seen 3 different conspiracy theories made by people who hate the game, meanwhile im interested enough in the story from just watching a friend play that i want to get it myself.

Eh, I'm not upset or anything, and obviously no one should get mad at just "I don't like that genre," but "the genre you like is a stupid and tedious timewaster" is rude and off-putting at the very least.

Yeah. I've met a lot of multiplayer people in the space get really vitriolic with both their audience and people who do variety because "thats not something that is viable (for me)" and it always strikes me as odd since most of these people don't try to diversify their interests and clearly want to!

I will never view certain reviewers the same for calling Fromsoftware games they dont like "Fromslop." Forever changed how I see them and made me re-evaluate their previous work.
