Genuine question, would it be Hoyoverse forcing them to use an American accent or Side Global? I don’t understand why they’d be so against the VAs using their natural accents. I would’ve loved to hear Emily use her natural accent for Escoffier or her Scottish accent that she gives Lumi in Wuwa.

I’ve been trying to look for this for ages!! I genuinely wanna know how Lumi_N0va was trained and who’s voice they trained it off of (+ if the VA actually consented) — same applies for whatever theyre doing with that other game in Anuttacon.

I think you're a bit confused. The actors who work on genshin aren't with Formosa anymore - that switch happened long ago. The problem is that the language in there contract as far as AI is concerned has not changed. I recommend checking out the tiktok videos by @chelseamkrause on the subject ^^

The contracts do not have AI protections, this has been repeated multiple times AND have refused to sign a NAVA AI Rider (a non union agreement for basic AI protections that isnt affiliated with SAG at all). Non Union AND Union actors are striking now because Hoyo is refusing to do anything.
