"Protector of the Galaxy"

18 years ago today, #SuperMarioGalaxy was released in the US. In honor of that, along with the release of the first trailer for #TheSuperMarioGalaxyMovie, here's the protector of the universe, the mother of the Lumas herself, #Rosalina!

My timeline is going to be nothing but #Rosalina all day, because holy crap, I love her so much! Her appearance in the movie is STUNNING! #TheSuperMarioGalaxyMovie

Also, I'm nervous, but also excited, to see who will be voicing the mother of the Lumas, the beautiful princess of space herself, Rosalina.

Whoever they choose, I'm crossing my fingers they will do her voice justice, because Rosalina means the galaxy to me.

In just 6 hours, we will be getting our first official trailer for #TheSuperMarioGalaxyMovie! Considering that this film is based on my favorite game of all-time, don't be surprised if I'm the least-bit ecstatic for what's to come, or scream like a girl the entire time.

I'm going to say Sydney Sweeney.

Back when the title was revealed, someone on Wikipedia falsely wrote that she was the voice of Rosalina. After hearing snippets of her voice, I could see it fitting her.

I just woke up to see that I have surpassed 300 followers here on Bluesky! I want to extend my hand in gratitude to everyone who followed me to see the stuff I want to make or say.

Here's to 100 more followers!

I just got back from seeing #PredatorBadlands, my first film from this franchise, and man, what a thrill ride this was. With its top-notch action and well-endowed characters, this film surprisingly does great with its simplicity.

Darkman (1990)

Before Spider-Man, this was the superhero film people knew Sam Raimi for. Feeling like a comic book come to life, this was a very enjoyable action flick with top notch acting from Liam Neeson, and great action that had me hooked from start to finish.

Oh yeah, and I had to take this little verification test to ensure my review got put up.

I saw #Bugonia today, and I think it's another winner in Yorgos Lanthimos' lineup. With fantastic performances from Emma Stone and Jesse Plemmons, and an ending that left me quite speechless, this is definitely a film worth remembering for years to come.

Well, it was a fun game while it lasted. I sure am going to miss it.

I truly enjoyed these posters, as they're quite possibly some of my favorite artworks you've ever made (I'm a sucker for parody posters).

Here's a collage containing every poster that was made this October.

"Little Halloween Ladies VI"

#HappyHalloween, everyone! It's time for my OCs to dress up for the occasion yet again!

This year's costumes include:
-Charlotte as #Rosalina from #SuperMario
-Annie as #Pomni from #TheAmazingDigitalCircus
-Janet as #Zoey from #KPopDemomHunters

Nice. The Bluesky icon got a glow up.

"Teeth"

My first artwork for October (and hopefully, not my last)! Here's a parody poster featuring Princess Clara from #DrawnTogether reenacting the poster for the 2007 horror film, Teeth.

Beware what lurks down there.

I think we're gonna have to kill this guy...

Minamata (2020)

Watched this in Japanese class today. Telling the true story of photojournalist W. Eugene Smith and his coverage of the Minamata disease outbreak in Japan, this was a pretty powerful film that shows the power of journalism and community.

My mom got me a bite-size bag of Skittles from the doctor’s office, and when I opened it, it didn’t come with any red pieces. What are the odds?

And here are the original posters for reference.

I completely forgot how the marketing team for The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water decided to promote the film by parodying the posters for other films released in 2015. Some of these go a lot harder than they should, and that why I love them.

I just got back from seeing #BlackPhone2, and I found it to be just as enjoyable as the first. While the first film had a better execution, I love how much more in-depth this sequel was, expanding on the cast and lore, while also having a surprising element of comedy in it.

Finally, I have a copy of my favorite film of 2025!

Teeth (2007)

Now here's a film that unexpectedly flew into my radar. When I read its insane premise, I had this urge to check it out, and after watching it, wow, that was pretty crazy. Men, let this film remind you that women are not as defenseless as you think.

I saw #GoodBoy earlier today, and this was an interesting film that puts a horror spin on the idea that dogs often see things that humans do not. For how minimalist it was, given that it is an indie film, it sure packed quite a punch with its execution.

Unbelievable.

My account on The Movie Database has been suspended for "inserting fake taglines". Either I was suspended for editing too fast or someone reported me just to laugh at my expense; I can guarantee none of my edits come close to vandalism.
