I think its easier to process such complex feelings if theyre plastered onto a third party (like a fictional character). At least it is for me, its less stressful emotionally if I view it like that. And tbh its fun to be able to express it with a character you feel strongly about

His character consistently rejects the systems he is put in, wanting to make his own path. I am like deeply infatuated with him on a psychological and emotional level. I have never in my life felt so strongly about some stupid guy who isn't even real and it makes me sick

It's this aspect of his masculinity that I'm very envious of. He demands attention and does what he wants. It's kind of why I hc him as ftm. Not just bc I'm projecting on him but bc if he wanted to be a man he just would be, regardless of patriarchal norms that insist women (+ men) be a certain way
